One Club Model Proposal
“At a recent Club Executive meeting our Chairman Ger Mc Carthy proposed that the Club should explore the potential for the Camogie, Ladies Football and GAA Clubs in Clonakilty integrating and following the One Club model. This proposal was met with a positive response and it was agreed that the suggestion should be investigated further.
While Ladies Football and Camogie Clubs would retain their own autonomy and remain part of their own respective Central Organisations, there would be a centralised approach to Governance, Games Development and Finance. The aim of the proposal is that the combined Clubs would be family orientated providing games for all.
