Non-Exam team defeat Castlehaven in Final
The non-exam football team took on Castlehaven on Tuesday evening last in Rosscarbery in the non-exam football final. Clon came into the game as underdogs after suffering their only league defeat against Castlehaven. The opening half was an even affair with Clon trailing by the minimum at half time 0-05 to 0-06. Clon started the second period in excellent fashion and built up a 1-06 to 0-06 advantage. Castlehaven were not finished and responded in an exciting en to the game to level the scores 1-10 apiece. Scores were hard to come by in extra time as fatigue took its toll on the players. However it was Clon who prevailed in the end to claim an excellent win 1-15 to 1-14
