Clon Senior Football advance to Kelleher Shield Final
The Senior Football team had an excellent victory over Carbery Rangers in the semi-final of the Kelleher Shield. The game was played in front of a large crowd in Ahamilla.
Clon play fast, free flowing football in the opening half and deservedly has opened up a half time lead of 0-11 to 0-06. Carbery Rangers began the second half in determined fashion and a quick flurry of points had the sides level 0-12 apiece entering the final quarter.
In a tense and low scoring ending it was Clon who prevailed. They now advance to play Ballincollig in the final with a time and date to be confirmed.
