Christmas Message from Chairman
I would like to wish everyone connected with our Club a very Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year. We can certainly look forward to 2019 with great hope after what has been a very positive and enjoyable year for the club both on and off the pitch.
I would like to take this opportunity to thanks everybody who has given so generously of their time to support the Club in both it’s on and off the field activities. We also have a large number of volunteers working in various roles throughout the Club and it is you have helped to grow the club to what it is today.
I wish to say a sincere thanks sponsors, and in particular to Colette Twomey, our sponsors are invaluable to us and I thank you for their continued support over the past year In addition I want to thank all our member, supporters and friends who support our weekly Lottery which provides vital funding to run our Club
A special mention to our Minor Management and players on their massive achievements. These young men are the future of this club and I look forward to seeing many more of them make their senior debuts in the months and years ahead.
This past year has brought us a number of new initiatives one of which was leasing additional adjoining lands from Michael & Eileen Mc Carthy who were very accommodating for which we are very grateful. This additional space will help to future proof the Club and help meet the demands of growing numbers of both boys and girls.
I hope you all can spend your Christmas around your own family. I would like to wish everyone a very happy time over the festive period and hope to see you for our annual walk / run on St Stephen’s day.
