MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRPERSON
Last week the Club took delivery of a new tractor €32,000, a new grass mower €32,000 and full kit out for a players Gym. €7,500, This investment of €71,500 comes on top of an investment €33,500 earlier this year to upgrade the Amenity walk and pitch drainage.
This expenditure and future-proofing of the Club would not be possible without the support we received through grants (€96,000) from the Sports Capital Programme (SCP) which is operated by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport.
I wish, on behalf of the Club to record our gratitude for this financial support and the assistance and support we received from the staff at the Department throughout the process. I also want to thank all those within the Club who assisted me with the applications and a special thanks to John Collins and Timmy Anglin.
