Clonakilty Success at Scór na nÓg
The Carbery final of Scór na nÓg (u17) was held in Ballinascarthy Hall on Sunday 22nd January.
Clonakilty GAA were represented in two Competitions, Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music Group) and Trath na gCeist (Quiz) where they were placed 2nd and 1st, respectively.
The Quiz team now go on to represent Carbery in the County Final to be held in Eire Óg GAA pavilion on Saturday March 25th.
The first semi-final of the Carbery Scór na bPáistí competition (primary school age) was held in Ballinascarthy hall on Saturday 28th January. Clonakilty GAA had strong representation in 6 categories: Solo Music, Solo Dancing, Solo Singing, Ballad group, Instrumental Music Group and Trath na gCeist. Clonakilty will be represented at the Carbery final on Sunday 19th February in the Solo Music, Ballad Group, Music Group and Quiz competitions.
Well done to all of the competitors involved for representing the branch so impressively and thank you to all of the mentors for their time in helping to prepare the various participant groups and individuals.
