The U21 A team took on Ahan Geals in Dunmanway on April 1st.
rnThe game was played in good dry conditions with Clon playing against a stiff breeze in the opening half. This did not stop them dominating proceedings as they built up a 0-06 to 0-01 approaching half time. With the last play they were gifted a fortuitous goal due to a goalkeeping error to lead at half time 1-06 to 0-01. The second half continued in the same fashion as the opening half with Clon scoring at will against an outclassed opposition. Final score 4-13 to 0-02. Clon kicked a number of fine points in the closing stage with the only negative to emerge being an injury suffered to Olan O'Donovan following a heavy challenge. Clon will play the winners of Dohenys and Ilen Rovers in the semifinal next weekend and will also progress to the new County Formatrnrn
