Match Report: The Senior Football team took on O'Donovan Rossa on Sunday last. Clon played against the breeze in the opening half but were well on top thanks to an excellent team goal finished to John Leahy and another from Ian Falvey. They lead after an impressive first 30 mins 2-05 to 0-06 at half time. In the second period O'Donoban Rossa started strongly and narrowed the margin down to a couple of points. Clon rallied in the closing 10 minutes despite the majority of the team being in U21 action less than 24 hours earlier. Clon kicked three successive scores to edge out to a comfortable lead entering the final few minutes to record a deserved victory. With less than 4 weeks to go before the championship game against Carbery Rangers further league games are scheduled to take place before then.
